Went to see Northern Irelands Lafaro Tuesday the 7th of February in BETA in Copenhagen. Very intimate concert and very cool band. It’s not often I go to a concert and laugh genuinely between the numbers, when the band is playing post-hardcore or garage or whatever.
The lead singer, Johnny Black, had a broken ancle and was forced to go nuts sitting down, but it didn’t stop Lafaro to give the audience an energetic performance.
I really like the music from Lafaro – no shit and no nonsense – just gritty and very catchy tunes. If you don’t know them go and listen to them on Spotify, but give them a chance. My favorites are “Easy meat”, “Meat wagon” and “The ballad of Burnt Dave” (And here’s a little secret – it’s not really a ballad 
)

Warm-up act was Copenhagen based “Rated R” – Cool band and great music too.
